Reflections often sneak up on me when I least expect them. Sometimes, they spark stories in my head; other times, they stir up thought storms. And every now and then, they linger—gently nudging me to look deeper. We’re all presented with moments like these every day—whether through conversations, media, or books. I call them gifts. Over time, I’ve learned to welcome them with the curiosity of a child and the wisdom of someone who knows the value of slowing down.
I recently read The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins, and her simple yet radical message really stuck with me: self-care is personal, and it looks different for each of us. For me, part of that journey has been carving out time and space to reconnect with my body and soul. Activities like sticking to a Pilates routine have helped me cultivate gratitude and take meaningful action. It’s not about “fixing” anything—it’s about looking inward.

The mind, that formless energy behind everything, is the source of wisdom, love, and insight. When we tap into this energy, we realize there’s always a deeper current of peace running beneath the surface, no matter what’s going on around us. Sometimes, it can feel like external events are causing us discomfort. But when I pause and ask myself: “What if those feelings are just my mind playing out stories?”—that’s when I start to see things differently.
What if the “problem” isn’t the outside world, but how I’m thinking about it? It’s quite transformative. And, this is where healing begins.
It’s not about changing the external world; it’s about recognizing that the thoughts creating our experience are, in fact, just thoughts. When we realize this, healing unfolds naturally. There’s a space for things to shift. Isn’t that amazing? Thoughts are not facts. They’re just passing clouds in the sky. And healing is simply the ability to see them for what they are—momentary creations.
I remember reading Michael Neill’s The Inside-Out Revolution for the first time. His message was clear: tapping into the intelligence behind life and trusting our natural wisdom is all we need to navigate this world. It takes the struggle out of transformation. What I’ve learned since then is that life can be both practical and creative—it’s all about tuning into our inner wisdom.
Inner wisdom is always there, just waiting for us to tap into it. The more I can quiet my mind and stay present with my thoughts, the more space opens up in my heart. By simply allowing my nature to shine through, I create room for transformation.
If you’re feeling stuck or uncertain about your healing journey, remember: you’re not broken. You don’t need to “fix” yourself. You just need to reconnect with that deeper part of you that already knows how to heal. And trust me, that’s something everyone can do.
As Michael Neill says, “We live in a world of thought, but we think we live in a world of external experience.” It’s not about the destination—it’s about the journey. And the best part? It’s already happening. So, I’ll continue to reflect, one day at a time. 💛
